I am a practicing graphic designer and a design educator. Design education is a professional love, whether I’m teaching a classroom of students or working with a studio of designers. Designers are constantly learning from each other and teaching one another — that is a dynamic I love.

In the classroom, my teaching philosophy revolves around a fundamental belief that real world design demands need to be present in the classroom. Such demands prepare my students for success in the workplace. My strong feelings about constant learning reinforces the importance that each student remains a lifelong design scholar.
